Estimation at Completion in Civil Engineering Projects: Review of Regression and Soft Computing Models

Construction projects are usually associated with several challenges owing to the varying process during project lifetime. Hence, final cost of any civil engineering is influenced by many factors. There numerous ways determining a project, however, most essential approach Estimate at Completion (EAC) technique. This technique mostly favored because it considers probability risks and performance. Furthermore, EAC helps managers in definition determination critical problems expected period likely solutions toward these problems. In this review research, basic empirical, regression advanced soft computing methodologies adopted for computation, were surveyed reported detail. The established on base recognize modern advancement accurate, reliable robust manner. was highlighted main literature limitation, current status possible future direction.
